Cross Cutting Themes

Cross Cutting themes are a significant feature of our curriculum design 

We have planned opportunities across each term to incorporate the following cross-cutting themes to being part of the authentic curriculum design 

 

  • local, national and international contexts – Global Goals 

  • understanding of relationships and sexuality education, human rights education and diversity, and careers and work-related experiences 

 

 

Religion, Values and Ethics 

RVE is a statutory requirement of the curriculum for wales. Here at Ringland we refer to SACRE guidance to inform our curriculum design. 

 

Relationships and Sex Education 

RSE is supported by the adoption of Jigsaw and the RSE code. Our RSE will support our children to realise the four purposes as part of our whole school approach
