Breakfast Club

Breakfast Club- Breakfast starts at 08.30am in the Acorns building. Breakfast staff commence duties at 08.20am and support Chartwells staff to prepare and set up in readiness to greet the children at 8.30am. Parents are required to apply for a breakfast place for their child / children via the main office. Welsh government funding extends to a 30- minute breakfast club, which covers staffing costs for 40 minutes each day. 

During breakfast club the children are offered a drink, cereal, toast and a piece of fruit. Chartwells the LA appointed catering service prepares and provides the breakfast whilst school appointed staff supervise and support the children attending breakfast club.  

At the end of breakfast club, the school appointed breakfast staff accompany the children to their classes. Oaks children are accompanied across to the Oaks building by a member of the school appointed breakfast staff.
