  • We had a brilliant Harvest Festival and the children loved performing their songs for you. They worked so hard to remember all of the actions and words to their songs. We hope you enjoyed looking at their beautiful autumn art and leaf sun catchers!
  • The children have been experimenting with a range of art techniques. We have been learning all about how to use powder paints and exploring colour mixing.  During the next few weeks or so we will be exploring and experimenting with clay so look out for their creations!
  • We have had a lovely term so far and have created some beautiful natural artwork, Name rockets and created a giant Planet Thunk character using chicken wire and Mod Rock. We are so proud of our creation it is on display in our Foundation Phase hall. The children love seeing Accuracy throughout the day and overlooking them whilst they eat their lunch!
  • Christmas is around the corner and rehearsals have started for our Nativity. Letters have already gone out to you with regards to costumes, so please don’t forget to bring them into school!
  • The children have decided to have ‘Santa’s Workshop’ as their roleplay area during December and will be writing lists, letters to Santa and wrapping gifts, so if you have any small boxes/wrapping paper/brown paper or old Christmas outfits (Santa/elves hats) they could use in their play it would be greatly appreciated!
  • There will be lots happening in the run up to Christmas so please check your dates for the diary.
